It is both a privilege and a blessing for me to serve as Principal of St. Joseph High School. With more than 25 years of experience in education, I have had the opportunity to serve students and families as a teacher, principal, district administrator, and university instructor, most recently serving as SELPA Director for Elk Grove Unified School District.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to building strong educational communities where students are known, supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential. My leadership is grounded in relationships, high expectations, compassion, and a deep belief that every young person has God-given gifts and the capacity to make a meaningful contribution to the world.
My return to St. Joseph is especially meaningful because this school has been an important part of my own family and professional life. My husband, Jim, and I are the proud parents of six St. Joseph graduates. I also had the privilege of serving on the St. Joseph High School Consultative Board from 2004 to 2018, giving me a longstanding appreciation for the school’s mission, traditions, and community.
As principal, I am committed to advancing the mission of a Josephite Liberal Arts education, forming the whole student in mind, heart, body, and soul. Rooted in our Catholic faith and the Josephite tradition, I look forward to working alongside our faculty, staff, families, alumni, parish partners, and broader community to build upon St. Joseph’s proud traditions while embracing the opportunities ahead. My priorities are to be present, listen, foster strong relationships, and ensure that every student experiences an outstanding education that challenges them academically, strengthens them in faith, and helps them discover and develop their God-given gifts.
Most importantly, I want our students to know that they are valued, supported, and encouraged to become the people God has called them to be.
I am grateful to serve the St. Joseph community and look forward to helping each student grow into a young man or woman of faith, character, courage, and purpose living the Knight’s Legacy and carrying their God-given gifts into the world.
