Weekly Mass
The celebration of the Eucharist is at the heart of our Catholic identity at St. Joseph High School. Our school community gathers for Mass throughout the year to pray together, hear God’s Word, receive the Eucharist, and grow as a community of faith.
School Masses also mark some of the most important moments in the life of our community. We celebrate the beginning of a new school year, honor our patron and Josephite heritage, recognize students and families, and gather during the Church’s liturgical seasons.
Through these celebrations, we seek to live our mission “To help each Knight image Christ in mind, heart, body, and soul.”
Special Masses & Celebrations
Throughout the year, our community gathers for special celebrations, including:
- Mass of the Holy Spirit — Asking God’s blessing upon the new school year
- Junior Ring Mass — Celebrating our juniors and blessing their class rings
- Founder’s Mass — Honoring Josephite founder Constant Van Crombrugghe and our Josephite heritage
- Senior Mothers Mass — Honoring the mothers and mother-figures of our seniors
- Catholic Schools Week Mass — Celebrating the gift of Catholic education
- Ash Wednesday Mass — Beginning our Lenten journey together
- St. Joseph & Senior Fathers Mass — Celebrating our patron and honoring senior fathers and father-figures
- Spirit of St. Joseph Mass — Recognizing those who embody the spirit and mission of St. Joseph High School
All Are Welcome
Students of every faith tradition are an important part of the St. Joseph community and participate with us respectfully in our school liturgies. While the celebration of Mass is distinctly Catholic, our gatherings provide an opportunity for our entire school community to reflect, pray, and grow together.
At St. Joseph, the Eucharist is more than an event on the school calendar. It is where we come together as one community and are sent forth to image Christ in mind, heart, body, and soul.
